Short answer
ClearPayslip — Your pay and property tax, worked out clearly. UK take-home pay calculator for 2026/27 with Scottish rates, National Insurance, student loans and pensions, plus a stamp duty calculator for England, Scotland and Wales.
ClearPayslip editorial team. We check every figure against the rates published by HMRC and GOV.UK, the Scottish Government, Revenue Scotland and the Welsh Government, and we link to the official source on every page.
What we do
ClearPayslip publishes free calculators and tables, with no sign-up, so anyone can check figures that affect their money for themselves. Every page explains its assumptions, links to the official rates it is based on and shows the date it was last reviewed. The calculators run in your browser: we do not store the figures you enter.
Where our figures come from
We only use primary sources: legislation, rates published by the tax authority and government statistics. When a rate changes, we recalculate every affected page and update its review date; if a figure has not been published yet, we say so on the page instead of guessing.

Independence and funding
ClearPayslip is not part of any government body, bank, accountancy firm or insurer, and no company pays to change what our calculators show. We are funded by Google AdSense advertising, always labelled as such, and by selling our own templates, which are clearly presented as our product. Any sponsored link is labelled "Sponsored".
Corrections
If you find a mistake, email hello@clearpayslip.com with the page and the figure. We check it against the official source as a priority and, if it needs correcting, we update the page and its review date.
